So this weekend with my fraternity brothers has come to a close. With that, many people asked me about the new airline that I flew from Little Rock to New Orleans. I remember a friend of mine frequenting New Orleans and it looked as if he was on a private airliner. Well, I asked him and he gave me the name GLO. I immediately thought that it was a typo, and he assured me it was GLO. I went to the net and found that they were in fact legit. Fast forward three months. I needed to book a flight to my fraternity’s regional convention and well…anything out of Little Rock National Airport is costly. Because desirable men are conscious of their budget, I decided to give GLO a try. To say the least, the price wasn’t even comparable to the major airlines. For a fraction and no layover GLO was the best option.

I will describe it as commercial meeting private. We boarded from the Tarmac and I found that the plane was equivalent to a regional jet that American Airline uses. If you are planning to store your roller bag in the overhead bin, don’t get your hopes up. They’re quite small however, GLO will check that bag for free at the gate. Even though the flight was only an hour, they still did the inflight snacks. Opposed to traditional peanuts, miniature pretzels and soda, GLO offered Utz Thin Pretzels and Zapp’s- a favored snack inspired by The Big Easy (New Orleans).

Overall, the flight was smooth and didn’t experience much turbulence. I made it to New Orleans and back to Little Rock effortlessly each way. Oh I almost forgot..they allow you three free checked bags in addition to your carry-on. GLO Up and Fly GLO at www.flygo.com
