Autumn in New England

Good morning Gents! I have been waiting for a while to begin writing segments on Autumn. Of course, Autumn is the formal way of announcing Fall- the season between September and December. Nonetheless, it is in the New England States (Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine) that many people come to observe the change in foliage. This is a process known as "leaf peeping."
Be it that this is my first New England Autumn/Fall, I wanted to be sure to take a moment to document it. I've lived all of my life in the South, and there is no cold such as the cold in this area. I would look on my phone and see temps that reflected in the 50's. Of course a light jacket or simple long sleeves would be sufficient back home, BUT it definitely feels like a southern 30 degrees when its only 50 degrees. So what was my winter attire is now my Fall attire *inserts hysterical laugh*. All things considered, I went to the winter section of my closet this morning and have mentally prepared to buy an entire new wardrobe.
Today's look took into consideration this special time of season. Because I have not repurposed
my wardrobe for this season, I was able to practice a concept that have previously referred to as a "useful closet." This is simply the process of buying clothing that can be used until the end of time. Living in the Lakes region of New Hampshire has caused me to always dress for the possibility of extreme humidity, isolated and random rain showers, and soon-to-be snow! This morning I pulled out my admirable orange coat, a simple tan sweater and wool cobalt blue slacks. Of course today's meeting and training sessions warranted the wear of Oxfords. I will be sure to fight the tourists for pictures of the changing foliage as people from around the country and world visit here to adore the scenery. Since that will be a later post, I decided to capture the leaves in my post today.
